Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-07 · Operated by PeopleStar Software · Contact: mcallpl@gmail.com

The short version

AIOS Build produces instructions — it does not write, run, or deploy code. You (or your team's approver) review every work order before anyone acts on it. You are responsible for what you build. The service is provided as-is, and our liability is capped at what you paid us. The full terms below say this precisely.

01Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and PeopleStar Software ("we," "us"), the operator of AIOS Build at aiosbuild.peoplestar.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, using the free generator, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.

02What the Service is — and is not

AIOS Build is a governance layer for AI-assisted software development. It evaluates plain-English software requests, applies rules you configure, flags risk, routes risky work to a human approver, and produces "Command Packs" — written instruction sheets intended to be given to an AI coding assistant of your choosing.

The Service does not:

03Your responsibility for output

This section matters most, so it is first among the substantive terms. Command Packs, risk assessments, plans, and explanations produced by the Service (together, "Output") are generated by automated rules and artificial-intelligence systems. Output is informational. It becomes action only when a human — you, or an approver in your workspace — decides to act on it.

04Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and be at least 13 years old (16 where local law requires). You are responsible for activity under your account. Workspace owners control who they invite; an invited member sees the workspace's shared projects and requests.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to plan or govern software intended to break the law or harm others; (b) probe, overload, or interfere with the Service; (c) bypass rate limits, plan limits, or access controls; (d) resell the Service without a written agreement; (e) upload malicious content.

06Your content

You own the requests, project rules ("Constitutions"), and other material you submit ("Your Content"), and you own the Command Packs generated from Your Content. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store, process, and display Your Content to you and your workspace members, and to submit request text to our AI processing providers (see the Privacy Policy) solely to provide the Service. We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train AI models.

07Our property

The Service — its software, design, rule libraries, directive catalog, and the AIOS Build™ name and marks — belongs to PeopleStar Software. These Terms grant you use of the Service, not ownership of any of it.

08Fees and plans

The Service offers free and paid plans. Prices, limits, and features are described on the site and may change with notice. Paid plans renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access through the paid-up period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Taxes are your responsibility.

09Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or are required to be closed by law. On termination we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period; export your audit packets and Command Packs first if you want to keep them.

10Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUT IS CORRECT, THAT RISK SCORING WILL CATCH EVERY RISK, OR THAT SOFTWARE BUILT USING OUTPUT WILL BE FREE OF DEFECTS.

11Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) NEITHER PEOPLESTAR SOFTWARE NOR ITS PERSONNEL WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (i) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (ii) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, these limits apply to the fullest extent the law allows.

12Indemnification

If a third party brings a claim against us arising from Your Content, your use of Output, or your violation of these Terms, you agree to defend us and cover the resulting damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees.

13Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both sides consent to that venue. Each side waives any right to a jury trial and agrees claims may be brought only individually — not as a class action.

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date and, for account holders, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

15Third-party trademarks

Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, Replit, Gemini, and all other product names referenced on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. AIOS Build is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. AIOS Build works with any AI coding tool and any programming language.
